Who I Help...

On the outside, you look like you have it all together.
On the inside, your thoughts are racing and your stress feels constant.

You’re capable, driven, and used to handling things on your own—

but lately, it feels harder to keep up.

You’re ready to feel calm, clear, and back in control.
You’re ready for practical support, real relief, and a clear path forward.

Many people who seek therapy are high functioning, capable and insightful individuals who feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety or difficult life experiences.  Professionals struggling with burnout.  Parents juggling family and work stress. High achievers who can't turn off their overthinking to go to sleep. Caring individuals who feel overwhelmed by larger forces they can’t control - like the economy, political climate, or global events.  On the outside you seem to be holding it all together, but lately, your thoughts are harder to manage, your stress feels constant, and it’s taking more effort just to get through the day.

Many committed couples find themselves struggling with communication, patterns of conflict, or adjusting to a new stage of life (like empty nesters, retirement, career changes). You may find yourselves on opposite sides of the political spectrum. Conversations turn into arguments - or you avoid them altogether. It starts to feel like you are living parallel lives in the same house, with little meaningful interaction. You don’t want to keep repeating this cycle. You want to communicate better, feel understood, and reconnect - without it turning into another conflict.

You have come to the right place if you experience...

  • Anxiety, Stress or Overthinking

  • Heavy Mental Load

  • Imposter Syndrome, Burnout, and/or Job Trauma

  • Uncertainty or difficulty making decisions

  • Constant replays of conversations or problems that never get closure

  • A life transition or career change has left you feeling overwhelmed or uncertain

  • Physical symptoms of stress or anxiety

  • Emotional baggage holding you back or weighing you down

  • Talk Therapy alone isn't working well enough and you are open to a new approach

  • You are seeking your LPC Associate licensure and need a Clinical Supervisor

You don't have to navigate these challenges alone. Therapy can provide a supportive space to help you grow, adjust, and change uncomfortable feelings, negative thinking or unhelpful patterns of behavior. My approach to therapy is collaborative and practical, gentle yet direct. Together we explore what is keeping you stuck and develop a plan that creates meaningful change.

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step. I offer complimentary, no-pressure, 15-minute consult phone calls to help you decide whether therapy feels like the right fit for you.

Feelings are not facts. Thoughts are not always true.

You don’t have to keep managing this on your own. Let’s create a plan to help you feel calmer, clearer, and more in control.

What Makes My Approach Different...

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping you experience meaningful progress. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address both the emotional and practical aspects of the challenges you are facing. I also incorporate resources from the Gottman method for couples therapy and DBT for stress management.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy is a structured brain-body approach that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer trigger the same emotional intensity. Many clients appreciate that ART can help reduce symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression and stress in less time than traditional talk therapy alone.

In our work together, we focus not only on understanding the patterns that contribute to distress and keep you stuck, but also on developing practical strategies that support lasting change in your daily life.

ART - Brief Intervention, Lasting Change

A.R.T. is an evidenced-based therapy approach that uses the power of the brain-body connection to help people make desired changes to thoughts, feelings and behaviors.

  • Many people experience relief in 2 - 5 sessions

  • No need to describe traumatic events in detail

  • Helps the brain reprocess distressing memories quickly

  • Widely used for trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and performance enhancement
