Who I Help...
Many people who seek therapy are high functioning, capable and insightful individuals who feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety or difficult life experiences. Many couples are committed but struggling with communication or conflict.

You have come to the right place if...
-
Anxiety, Stress or Overthinking is a constant, unwanted companion
-
A heavy mental load is getting in the way of you being able to do what you want or need to do
-
Your brain constantly replays conversations or ruminates on potential problems that never get closure
-
When you are not actually working, you are constantly thinking about work
-
A life transition or career change has left you feeling overwhelmed or uncertain
-
Emotional distress is causing uncomfortable physical symptoms
-
You find it hard to relax or sleep because you can't "turn off" your thinking
-
You desire to get rid of emotional baggage and move ahead feeling lighter
-
Talk Therapy alone isn't working well enough and you are open to a new approach
-
You are seeking your LPC Associate licensure and need a Clinical Supervisor

You don't have to navigate these challenges alone. Therapy can provide a supportive space to help you grow, adjust and move forward. My approach to therapy is collaborative and practical. Together we explore what is keeping you stuck and develop strategies that support meaningful change.
Reaching out for support can feel like a big step. A brief consultation can help you decide whether therapy feels like the right fit for you.
What Makes My Approach Different...

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping you experience meaningful progress. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address both the emotional and practical aspects of the challenges you are facing. I also incorporate resources from the Gottman method for couples therapy and DBT for stress management.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy is a structured brain-body approach that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer trigger the same emotional intensity. Many clients appreciate that ART can help reduce symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression and stress in a relatively short period of time.

In our work together, we focus not only on understanding the patterns that contribute to distress and keep you stuck, but also on developing practical strategies that support lasting change in your daily life.

ART - Brief Intervention, Lasting Change
A.R.T. is an evidenced-based therapy approach that uses the power of the brain-body connection to help people make desired changes to thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
-
Many people experience relief in 2 - 5 sessions
-
No need to describe traumatic events in detail
-
Helps the brain reprocess distressing memories quickly
-
Widely used for trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and performance enhancement

Start Your Path to Relief
During the first session (Intake), we will go over your background, current symptoms and functioning, and identify your goals (how you want to feel or what you want to do differently with therapy). Then we'll collaborate on a plan on how to help you reach your goals.
