Who I Help...

Many people who seek therapy are high functioning, capable and thoughtful individuals who feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety or difficult life experiences.  Many couples are committed but struggling with communication or conflict.

You have come to the right place if...

  • Anxiety, Stress or Overthinking is a constant, unwanted companion

  • Past negative experiences still affect you

  • Communication in relationships is difficult

  • A life transition has left you feeling overwhelmed or uncertain

  • Avoidance is limiting your choices

  • Emotional distress is weighing you down

  • You find it hard to relax or sleep because you can't "turn off" your thinking

  • You experience too many physical symptoms of stress and anxiety

  • You desire to get rid of emotional baggage and move ahead with new skills

  • You are looking for a therapist in Katy, TX who sees clients in person

You don't have to navigate these challenges alone. Therapy can provide a supportive space to help you grow, adjust and move forward. My approach to therapy is collaborative and practical. Together we explore what is keeping you stuck and develop strategies that support meaningful change.

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step. A brief consultation can help you decide whether therapy feels like the right fit for you.

What Makes My Approach Different...

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping you experience meaningful progress. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address both the emotional and practical aspects of the challenges you are facing. I also incorporate resources from the Gottman method for couples therapy and DBT for stress management.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy is a structured brain-body approach that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer trigger the same emotional intensity. Many clients appreciate that ART can help reduce symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression and stress in a relatively short period of time.

In our work together, we focus not only on understanding the patterns that contribute to distress and keep you stuck, but also on developing practical strategies that support lasting change in your daily life.
