INSURANCE, RATES & PAYMENT
At Wiseman Counseling & Therapy, we strive to make mental health services accessible and convenient for clients. We provide services both to self-pay / out of network clients as well as clients using insurance benefits associated with Optum / United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, and affiliated plans.

Clients have a right to know what they will owe for each session prior to commencing therapeutic services. All clients will receive either a Verification of Benefits or a Good Faith Estimate prior to your Intake session. You can verify your insurance benefits before you ever speak to our therapist!

Payments are made electronically via credit card / HSA card information that all clients must save on file in their client portal.

Our business associate company, ALMA, will verify benefits, submit claims, and process payment for clients who wish to use insurance.
Rates vary per plan, so you can verify your coverage through Alma before you even speak with our therapist. This way, you will know what you will owe before we get started. To confirm that we are In Network with your specific plan, Check Your Coverage through ALMA.
SELF-PAY & OUT OF NETWORK
For clients who are out of network or opting to pay out of pocket, payments will be processed through Stripe via Simple Practice. Late Cancellation / No Show fees and other miscellaneous fees are all billed through the self-pay process. (These fees are detailed in your Good Faith Estimate and the Consent for Services document you will receive, so there are no surprises.)

First Session - Intake, Assessment & Registration $200
Individual Psychotherapy 45-minute Session $165
Individual Psychotherapy 60-minute Session $180
Couples Therapy 50-minute Session $200
